Open for just this week in Sag Harbor Village, the cult luxury fashion house LIBERTINE returns to the Hamptons with their 2025 Spring/Summer Runway Collection, iconic favorites, an exclusive Hamptons capsule edit, plus the ability to customize your own piece.
Stop by this week to explore the collection and even meet LIBERTINE’s iconic founder and Creative Designer, Johnson Hartig.
LIBERTINE Summer 2025 Pop Up | Now through June 29 from 10 am – 5 pm
Sage & Madison – 31 Madison Street, Sag Harbor
Just like last year, LIBERTINE has gone above and beyond in designing a full capsule collection inspired by Sag Harbor and available exclusively this week in the Hamptons. These one-of-a-kind pieces highlight so much of the character and aesthetic that make Sag Harbor unique – each imbued with the imagination and joy that define the LIBERTINE House. And, yes, they have a new run of custom Sag Harbor stickers!

Last year, I wrote, “The clothes are more installation than inventory; that is, they are artfully designed, masterfully crafted, and visually arresting.” And I can happily report – this year, LIBERTINE has done it again.
Even before opening, the luxury pop-up has already generated considerable attention. Maybe it was the LIBERTINE Moke that gave it away! Speaking of the custom Moke, if you are in Sag Harbor Village and would like to visit the pop-up, the LIBERTINE team is happy to offer complementary pick ups and drop offs to shop as well as deliveries of purchases in the Moke.
Listen, you’re gonna see the crystal tennis motif bucket hat in the Hamptons this Summer, wouldn’t you rather be the one seen in it? Just as I was looking at it, their team produced the matching, pink-linen top, and I mean, come on – what could be more Hamptons? (Maybe the equally chic golf motif…)
For an even more one-of-a-kind option, LIBERTINE offers customizable pieces where you can select your own crystal pattern—many of which are exclusive to the Sag Harbor pop-up—and choose your preferred color or material. The hand-finished pillows are especially chic, adding an artful, Hamptons-perfect touch to any space.

Beyond the “how-the-hell-did-they-make-those-butterfly-wings-move-like-that” moments, I was most impressed by how much effort, energy, and intention have gone into curating this Sag Harbor experience. If you’re going to have hand-sewn butterfly motifs on your coat, you’re going to want the custom-articulated wings. Zero compromises.
That level of attention is special and 100% intentional. That is, excuse my pun, LIBERTINE’s style. Their whole team is all-in, bringing a genuine fashion brain trust to the experience. Inside, their team can answer any questions and help you understand the almost obsessive level of attention that goes into each piece in the collection.
In a store that is entirely eye-catching, here are some of my personal favorites.
-Trust me, you’re gonna love any of the pieces with the Turtle Time motif
-The hand-silk-screened Goth Botanical Blazer
-The Venetian Coral design is absolutely stunning and, importantly, is 100% yacht-ready
-The Flower Gems Coat featuring Lilley of the Valley is iconic, and all of the moving flowers are a delight of sight and sound
-The Poolside Pieces are exceptionally versatile in beautiful cotton linen and silk
-New silhouettes and classic styles, of course
-Sailor-wide linen pants – perfect for day-to-night styling
-Another gem, the silk trench coats pay homage to New York City but feel perfectly at home in the Hamptons
-Bespoke handmade hats
The fashion house continues to grow yet remains rooted to the same design ethos that has made LIBERTINE a fashion icon. Currently, LIBERTINE is preparing for its 25th anniversary next year and is excited to launch a new showroom in Manhattan.
