Hamptons Social x Figue Summer Soiree celebrated the start of the season with exceptional verve, a glitzy guestlist, and an inspired expression of the Hamptons community. You know Summer has started when you’re holding a cocktail at Grey Gardens.
A curated tribute to the season ahead, the annual summer soirée at the iconic Grey Gardens estate in East Hampton was co-hosted by Lizabeth Zindel Wells of Hamptons Social and Liz Lange, CEO and Creative Director of Figue.
The evening embodied the spirit of Figue—a brand that celebrates artisanal luxury and the art of living colorfully—while offering guests a rare opportunity to experience Grey Gardens’ legendary charm.

Hamptons Social knows that the Hamptons are, well, social! It’s great to connect with so many of the tastemakers and creatives that make the East End a center for culture and luxury year after year.
Electricity was in the air—literally, with the 2025 all-electric Cadillac Escalade IQ offering exclusive valet transportation. Behind the hedgerows, the air was scented with Diptyque’s Citronelle and Figuier candles, while floral arrangements by Sag Harbor Florist softened every corner. Guests sipped craft cocktails from Tequila Enemigo, sampled Avaline wines (Hi, Cameron!), and enjoyed perfectly bite-sized canapés from Events by RHC.
Notable attendees included Candace Bushnell, Fern Mallis, Erika Katz, Lee Fryd, Libby Langdon, Isaac Boots, Ed Hollander, Scott Sotile, Gabby Bluestone, Antonella Bertello, Rocco Carreiro, and Adriana Castano, among others.
Liz Lange captured it best: “It’s always such a joy to see Grey Gardens come alive with laughter, color, and connection. Summer is Figue’s season, and there’s nothing more meaningful to me than gathering with friends, new and old, to celebrate the beauty of the Hamptons and the timeless joy of great style, great company, and great conversation.”

Artist Deanna First captured the evening’s spirit with live sketches, immortalizing those who arrived dressed in Figue’s summer collection — a perfect complement to the estate’s faded grandeur and the evening’s playful energy.
Grey Gardens is endlessly elegant – every inch of the grounds invites impromptu photo sessions. Brass and Burl’s picnic setup at the entrance paid tribute to Grey Gardens’ storied past, adding a touch of nostalgia to the festivities.

Grey Gardens Estate proved to be the ultimate setting for Hamptons Social’s Summer Soirée—a place where old-world charm and modern style meet beneath the salty Hamptons breeze and long summer sun. “I loved partnering with Liz Lange and Figue to bring a magical evening to life at Grey Gardens,” said Lizabeth Zindel Wells. “Watching our guests wander through the secret gardens, discover original details of the iconic estate, and take a spin in the ultra-luxurious, all-electric Cadillac Escalade IQ – it’s the perfect way to kick off summer.”
As the night wound down, guests left with goody bags brimming with treasures from Dyptique, Dr. Copeland Skincare, Jeny Baker Designs, True Botanicals, and more — a final nod to the thoughtful luxury that defined the night. For me, it was a gentle, glamorous nudge into the summer we’ve all been waiting for: Summer 2025 is shaping up to be a season to remember.
